Here is the 2015 Green County Fairest of the Fair candidate Rachel Gilson, 2014 Green County Fairest of the Fair Alicia Gordee-Kubly and 2015 Green County Fairest of the Fair Whitney Disch.

Whitney Disch is currently a freshman at UW-Madison, where she is studying Psychology and plans to study Nursing in the future. She aspires to work as a nurse in the behavioral health department so she can work with people who have mental and psychological illnesses. Whitney grew up in the Town of Monroe where she was active in volleyball, basketball, track and field, softball, forensics and choir. She served as the 2013-2015 Monroe Dairy Queen. At the UW she is an active Badger Volunteer and she is also part of the Aspiring Nurses Association. Whitney is the daughter of Roderick and Anita Disch and hopes to continue to volunteer and give back to the community as she has done most of her life.

Rachel Gilson is currently a sophomore studying at UW-Platteville, with a major in Animal Science and a minor in Agribusiness, emphasis in Dairy. She grew up on a 70-acre dairy farm outside of New Glarus where her family has always been involved in showing Holstein dairy cattle. She has been showing and exhibiting projects at the Green County Fair for the past nine years, and also at the Wisconsin State Fair for the past six years, and is currently a Herdsman for the county. At UW-Platteville she is very active in the Pioneer Dairy Club and Pioneer NAMA (National Agrimarketing Association). Her hobbies include showing dairy cattle, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling.

The two candidates were interviewed by a panel of three judges and were judged on an interview, a 30-second radio spot that they wrote and delivered, and on impromptu questions.

This year's Green County Fairest of the Fair is Whitney Disch.

2014 Fairest of the Fair, Alicia Gordee-Kubly did an amazing job and dedicated one year to promoting the Green County Fair and Fairground related events. The Fair Board cannot thank her enough for all of the time she spent attending parades, doing school visits, attending civic meetings and the countless hours she put in at last year's fair. Alicia is currently a Tech Ed teacher at Albany High School.
