On Saturday, October 8, 2022, author Betty Plombon presented her book, The Horror of 1888, at the Swiss Historical Village's Log Church. The book tells the true crime story of the escape and eventual capture of Betty's ancestor, John Kuehni. Included in the presentation was Jeff Anderson's musical performance to rare 1937 footage of New Glarus during the Great Depression.

On Sunday, the Swiss Historical Village hosted Harvest Fest. The festival allowed visitors to connect with 19th century Swiss immigrant life with demonstrations including cheese making, blacksmithing, yarn spinning, basket weaving.

Please visit their website at http://www.swisshistoricalvillage.org. Many thanks to all the volunteers who made this annual event such a success.
