A Vote for Leah Spicer is a Vote for a Healthy Future

Dear Editor,
As a lifelong Wisconsinite and a faithful voter for well over 50 years, I am appalled and disheartened by the Wisconsin Legislature. We deserve better than this! We deserve Representatives in the Legislature who will listen to their constituents. We need Representatives to vote on tough issues, and above all, to protect our right to vote, instead of working to diminish it. We need Legislators who care about the protection of our drinking water, and the safety of our schools, who will work to expand access to affordable health care. We need Legislators who are not beholden to the wealthy few.
Leah Spicer knows rural Wisconsin, and will stick up for our interests. She cares about improving wages, providing accessible and affordable childcare and health care, providing rural broadband, and adequately funding rural public schools.
As a grandmother, I am deeply concerned about the future of my grandchildren and all children. We are going in the wrong direction. Leah Spicer listens to our concerns, and shares them. Those who control the current Legislature are arrogantly out of touch. A vote for Leah Spicer is a vote for a healthy future.
