I wish to thank our New Glarus Community for once again stepping up to help us have a very successful Blood Drive on Friday at the Bible Church. The earlier times of 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seemed to work out very well for all involved. We started out with 64 reservations, had a couple deferrals, several walk-ins and 10 that did the Power Red. We ended the day with 51 Whole Blood Products, 20 units from the Power Reds, totaling 71 Units.

A shout out goes to our wonderful food donors: Hoesly’s Meats, New Glarus Bakery, Culver’s, New Glarus Subway, New Glarus Dairy, Sally Lamp, Louann Bodenmann, Alice Foster, Phil Hanna, Ruth Anderegg, Sandy Nelson and Nancy Galhouse. Also the necessary kitchen servers: Phil Hanna, Louann Bodenmann, Alice Foster and Deb Kahl. Thank you all so very much!

Our next drive at the Bible Church will be held on December 16th, our Holiday Drive. Please mark your calendars.

Bill Kuenzi received a Certificate of Commendation to our New Glarus Community for a total of almost 400 Blood donations over the course of 2021! New Glarus Brewery, New Glarus High School, New Glarus Area EMS, Community Blood Drives at the New Glarus Bible Church, WE DID GOOD!!!
