Van Dusen Thankful for Support

May 26, 2022

Dear Editor,

Back in December 2020, my fiancée, Denise Klassy, started to notice that I was really starting to walk different. In January of 2021, I stated to doctor about this issue. Mind you, we thought I was going to end up having back surgery. After many tests, in the end, back in December 2021, I got a diagnosis with ALS, also known Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

May 14th, 2022, Pec Valley ATV/UTV Club did a benefit ride for me to help raise money for doctor bills and upcoming things I may need in the coming months.

I want to take a moment to thank a lot of people that helped out in some way or another.

What an amazing day it was. I can’t express on how grateful I am to have you guys come out and support me. I was so overwhelmed to say the least about everyone that came out. There are so many Thank Yous I would like to thank. Pec Valley ATV/UTV Club and Cork Down Saloon for getting the ball rolling on my benefit. Pec Valley is the most amazing club to be a part of and some of the most caring people. Mike and Angie Wirth we can’t thank you enough for everything you guys did to get the Cork Down ready for this benefit.
