April 5th Election Important for Green County

March 10, 2022

Dear Editor,

The upcoming election on April 5 is very important for Green County. All 31 positions on the Green County Board of Supervisors will be up for election. Each County Board Supervisor represents a district in Green County. District 16, in which I am a candidate, includes all of Sylvester and the southern part of Mount Pleasant. Multiple County Supervisors, including Arthur Carter from District 16, will not be seeking reelection this year.

County government addresses many important issues, including public health, land use & zoning, county road maintenance, law enforcement & public safety, and election security, to name a few. Don’t underestimate the importance of voting in this local election. For the next two years, the candidates that you choose will be entrusted with defending the Constitution and protecting your American values at the county level.

Isaiah Carlson,

Candidate for Green County Supervisor, District 16

Sylvester Township
