Siegenthaler Elected to The Bank of New Glarus Board of Directors
December 16, 2021
Brenda Siegenthaler was voted onto a board seat for both The Bank of New Glarus and Bancorp of New Glarus, Inc., at the November 2021 Board Meeting. Brenda is filling a seat vacated by former Director Faun Phillipson, who resigned in July to focus primarily on her position as the newly elected Green County Circuit Court Judge.
Brenda is most notably known as the owner and operator of Brenda's Blumenladen, a successful home goods store located in downtown New Glarus. Blumenladen opened in 1996 and, since then, not only has Brenda built strong relationships in the community, but she expanded her business as well. In 2013, Brenda opened the Kinderladen toy store, also in New Glarus, and in 2017 she opened the Railroad St. Boutique right next to the Blumenladen, selling top-quality apparel and accessories.
"Brenda's drive and passion for making her local business successful are just the type of energy we were looking for when selecting candidates for our Board," said Ron Schaaf, President and CEO of The Bank of New Glarus, as well as a Board Member himself. Ron continued,"We wish the very best to Faun in her role as Judge Phillipson and thank her for all her years of service to our organization. We are also very excited to have Brenda join us as she has been a key member of our community and will be a great addition to our Board of Directors."
