On February 14, 2022, Woodford State Bank purchased the Greenwoods State Bank branch in Darlington, making this Woodford State Bank's sixth banking location. This branch is located at 15815 State Road 81, Darlington. The other bank offices are located in Green and Lafayette counties, which include the main office in Monroe, along with branches in Argyle, Blanchardville, South Wayne, and New Glarus. Woodford State Bank is a locally owned community bank, established in 1915.
President and CEO Scott DeNure commented, "We are excited to offer another choice of a true, community bank to the Darlington market. We have an experienced team of employees hired for the new branch that will provide the type of professional and friendly service that our bank is known for".
