Dear Editor,
My brother Butch passed away on June 11, 2021, at the VA Hospital. His visitation was on Wednesday, June 16, from 4-7. His memorial services was held on Thursday, June 17, at 1:30 - both were at the Swiss Church.
What an honor to stand in line listening, shaking hands and hugging all who knew Butch. He had a smile for each of us. It was great seeing so many who were his friends. I also consider you all my friends.
Seeing and talking with you rekindled so many great memories. I will not forget any of you. I lived in New Glarus for 40 years. I thank each and every one of you that I can think back and smile at all that we did. New Glarus is a great place to have grown up and lived - thank you.
Now, as Butch watches us from heaven, may we put a smile on and give a hug to all in need.
