Dear Editor,

Jane Bucher is my friend and a neighbor, whom I respect and admire greatly. As I learn more about her life and career, I see where her dedication to public service and deep sense of fairness comes from. Her Mom was a nurse and her Dad, a Navy veteran, who was a school psychologist. After college, Jane worked with Autistic children and people with persistent mental health illness. She left that work to serve in the Peace Corps and then, after seeing what the law could do to change lives, attended UW Law School. Jane’s work in our court system has been focused on ensuring fairness and equal justice for everyone. She is a good listener, a careful decision maker and she understands the role of a judge. I urge my fellow Green County residents to join me in electing her on April 6th.
