It is with heartfelt gratitude that we wish to thank and acknowledge the community members who donated at the New Glarus Community Blood Drive on April 10th. You were all very courageous to answer the call to donate during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for your patience as you learned the new protocol. We’d also like to thank those of you who were walk-ins, who were not able to donate due to the new protocol during the pandemic.

In her summary, Kristen Cruz, from the American Red Cross, wrote, “Thank you for having us today. We collected 60 units, saving up to 180 lives. We couldn’t have done it without you.”

We would also like to thank the New Glarus Bible Church for hosting the drive. Thank you to Bill Kuenzi for his support. We would also like to thank Culver’s of New Glarus for their very generous donation of custard coupons for the donors. We greatly appreciate your ongoing support of this drive. We would also like to thank Sue and Fred Bonacker, Matt, Kristen and Emma Funk, Laura, Jenn and Emily Curry, Sandy Hershberger and members of Shepherd of the Hills Stewardship Committee for assisting with the blood drive. You too, were so very valuable during the pandemic blood drive!

You are all Heroes for the American Red Cross! Thank you!
