Dear Editor,
On Sunday, October 13th, our New Glarus Historical Society hosted Harvest Fest at the Swiss Historical Village & Museum. Harvest Fest is our annual celebration of old world traditions set amidst buildings that showcase the history of New Glarus. Despite the chilly weather, over 450 adults and children joined us this year!
Many thanks to all the artisans and volunteers who made this year’s Harvest Fest possible. Special thanks to Casey’s General Store for their financial donation towards advertising, to the New Glarus Brewing Company for their ongoing financial support, and to the New Glarus Culver’s for their donation of meal coupons for our artisans/demonstrators.
October 15th was the final day of our museum’s 2019 season; however, you can access a wealth of information about New Glarus’ history all year round by visiting our website at http://www.swisshistoricalvillage.org.
Our 2020 season will begin in May – see you then!
