Woodford State Bank hosted another cash mob event at Jim's Backyard BBQ on June 27th. Ten percent of the proceeds for the day went to Jacob's Swag Foundation. It was Jim's most profitable day yet! Jim's Backyard BBQ was able to donate $400 to Jacob's Swag Foundation. Cash Mobs have been a great way to promote local businesses, keep our local communities thriving, and support local organizations! Woodford State Bank's next Cash Mob will be Wednesday, August 14th, at Suisse Haus from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.! Cash drop at 1:00 p.m.
"The funds raised from this event will be used to help support Jacob's SWAG Foundation's new mental health phone app that will be introduced in the Fall of 2019, along with supporting a community Support Group (SOS Survivors of Suicide) and continuing to break the stigma of Mental Health and suicide throughout all of our communities. Jacob's SWAG Foundation would like to thank Jim's Backyard BBQ, Woodford State Bank and all those who stopped by to support this event," said Teri Ellefson, of Jacob's SWAG Foundation.
