Hi,
Happy Birthday USA! And when we think of birthdays, we think about the perfect gift that we should bring.
Well, how about the gift of one more day or week, or even a year and beyond? You can do that! Our next New Glarus Community Blood Drive will be held on August 2, 2019, at the New Glarus Bible Church, on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 6th Street, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Due to the 3rd Avenue road construction, access is best by either taking Durst Road down to 3rd Avenue or take 2nd Avenue to 6th Street to 3rd Avenue.
We have asked Ron White to act as host this time, as he is presently receiving regular transfusions. Ron is so very thankful that the blood supply is there for him during this time of need.
The Swiss United Church of Christ is Sponsoring this August Drive, so asking all Swiss Church members to step up to help in any way and also donate blood as you can. Ruth Anderegg is seeking workers for the early and later shifts, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., or 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sadly my landline answering machine is not working.
