Tasty. Fresh veggies. Quality food. Smart nutrition. That says it all to the new owners of the Belleville Subway, Kyle Wayne and his brother, Austen, and families of Boscobel. The families also own the Subway in New Glarus.

New to the restaurant business, Kyle said they are learning lots of things, "Sometimes the hard way, but we're learning."

He explained that they are friends with the family who owns the Subway in Boscobel and when Kyle and Austen lost their jobs at Bemis, a plastic packaging company, their friends suggested they look into owning a Subway franchise.

After spending two weeks in Connecticut at franchise training, the brothers officially became owners on December 12th of last year.

"Mary Leader, the previous owner, has been so helpful," said Kyle. "Without her help, we would have more of a learning curve."

The brothers who grew up in Boscobel appreciate how welcoming the residents of Belleville and other customers are and how they support their meal cravings at Subway.

"We've made a few changes but our goal is to serve fresh quality food. We care about food. Where it comes from and how it nourishes us is just as important as how it tastes."
