On Sunday, October 7th, our New Glarus Historical Society hosted Harvest Fest at the Swiss Historical Village & Museum. Harvest Fest is our annual celebration of old world traditions set amidst buildings that showcase the history of New Glarus. Despite the rain, nearly 200 adults and children joined us this year.

Many thanks to all the artisans and volunteers who made this year’s Harvest Fest possible. Special thanks to Casey’s General Store for their financial donation towards advertising and to the New Glarus Brewing Company for their ongoing financial support.

October 15th was the last day that our museum was open for the 2018 season; however, you can access a wealth of information about New Glarus’ history all year round by visiting our website http://www.swisshistoricalvillage.org.

Our 2019 season will begin in May – see you then!
