Tschudy Gives Praise to Dregers

A big hats-off to Randy and Sherry Dreger, for the job they’ve done renovating the former New Glarus Lumber Company property into the newly established Fest Haus. Walking into the Fest Haus and seeing that the interior as we knew it, big beams, wide siding boards all remain intact, giving visitors a great look at what a small town lumber yard looked like in years past.
And a big thanks as well for the quick thinking between the Dregers and the Wilhelm Tell Guild to quickly decide to hold the rained out Tell performance at the Fest Haus. This was certainly a fete to pull off so quickly.
Good job, well done, and an excellent example of adaptive re-use of a building verses the tear-it-down philosophy that so many people embrace.
