Donais Thankful to Belleville Community

Dear Editor,
My husband and I were cycling in beautiful Wisconsin on the Badger State Trail. On June 14, we cycled from Belleville south to the tunnel - stopped to look around when I realized that my bike bag had fallen off. We returned to the parking lot by the Belleville Library checking each side of the trail for my bag. No luck. Since we were parked by the public library, we checked to see if anyone had turned in a bag. No luck. The library staff phoned the police station. We walked back to the tunnel entrance checking each side of the trail both ways. No luck. We checked again at the library and they said a bike bag had been turned in at the police station by Derek Smith. A kind police officer brought my bag to the library. I was so thankful to receive it. I want to thank Derek Smith, the police officer and the library staff for all their help.
