Johnson Encourages Donation at Good Friday Red Cross Blood Drive

The Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church will again be the organizing sponsor of the New Glarus Community Good Friday Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, March 30th. This year’s drive will be held from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m., at the New Glarus Bible Church, 207 6th Street, New Glarus. If you would like to donate “the gift of life” you can register for an appointment time at http://www.redcrossblood.org, or call 1-800-733-2767, or just walk in (though your wait may be an hour or more as most people now schedule ahead of time). Last year’s drive had 94 donors who donated 100 pints of blood (which could help save the lives of up to 300 patients) – an amazing response! Let’s see if our community can match or surpass that response again this year.
