Dear Editor,

Congratulations to the currently undefeated (19 – 0) and number 1 state ranked New Glarus HS basketball team. The undersigned have been watching the team’s progress with interest this season. We were members of the starting squad on the conference (State Line League) undefeated team (18 – 0) of 1955-56. The entire season record for all games that season was 20 – 2. Other members of the starting squad were Dick Sarbacher, Chuck Hicks, and Art Luthi. Dick went on to star at UW-Platteville on their national tournament team. Good luck to the team closing out the season and on in the tournament.
