On Sunday, October 8th, our New Glarus Historical Society hosted Harvest Fest at the Swiss Historical Village & Museum. Harvest Fest is our annual celebration of old world traditions set amidst buildings that showcase the history of New Glarus. Nearly 500 adults and children joined us this year.

Many thanks to all the artisans and volunteers who made Harvest Fest such a success. Special thanks to Casey’s General Store and the New Glarus Brewing Company for financial donations that helped us promote Harvest Fest.

October 15th is the last day that our museum will be open for the 2017 season; however, you can access a wealth of information on New Glarus’ history all year round by visiting our website: http://www.swisshistoricalvillage.org.

Our 2018 season will begin in May – see you then!
