A fundraising dinner, dance, and live and silent auction for the Green County Veterans Memorial Park will be held on Saturday, April 29th, at Turner Hall in Monroe.
The Green County Veterans Memorial Park Committee is seeking names of Green County veterans for the Wall of Honor to be displayed in our Hall of Honor that is being planned this year at the Green County Veterans Memorial Park, located on the corner of State Road 81 and County Road N.
The next phase of the Green County Veterans Memorial Park will include the erection of a brick gazebo-style building honoring all Green County Veterans, complete with a Wall of Honor listing names of Green County Veterans, and honoring four natives of Green County that include General Merrill B.
