Bubenzer Thankful for Quick Response by New Glarus Emergency Personnel

Recently it was necessary for my husband and me to call 911 and request help after my husband fell in our yard. Though this was not a life-threatening situation, it was an emergency for us, and the response was swift. An EMS team from New Glarus arrived promptly at our rural home and gave my husband quick and thorough attention, checking vital signs, confirming no concussion or broken bones. A trip to the hospital was not required in this case, but they efficiently got him on his feet again, and able to walk once more.
It was comforting to know that this community and area has dedicated, capable people who can deliver needed help so quickly and thoroughly in an emergency. We are grateful, and applaud them for their services to citizens. The dispatcher at 911, the New Glarus EMS, and even the Fire Department personnel were all ready to respond quickly and professionally, as needed. They deserve the support and respect of all of us as they carry out their duties to and for all of us.
