Dear New Glarus Area Blood Donors,

Once again you will have the wonderful opportunity to give the gift of life on August 19, 2016. Maybe it will be somebody you know or a stranger somewhere across the country, where blood could be desperately needed.  As usual, the blood supplies run a little short as people are on vacation or whatever.  As a special incentive the Red Cross has made a great offer through the month of August:

Swiss Church is hosting this drive at the New Glarus Bible Church, located on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 6th Street.  The times are 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

As it is summer, please, please, PLEASE, eat healthy meals all week.  Sorry, but ice cream diets do not help your blood sink, although they do cool you off.  Besides you will receive your coupon from Culver’s, a Pint for a Pint!  Looking forward to seeing you on August 19th!
