The New Glarus Fire Department would like to thank the individuals and businesses who have so graciously and selflessly stepped forward through their time commitments and financial offerings to make our dreams of remodeling the current building dream come true. As many of you know, the current fire station is outdated and we hope to create a more modern expansion to the existing building. Our goal is to stay prepared and ready for our growing community.

A number of businesses have dedicated specific events for raising funds to contribute to your fire department’s future. The owners and employees have done a terrific job of showing their support through their time and effort. In addition, these businesses brought in wonderful public contributions to help move closer to our goal. The total expected cost of the expansion is $300,000, along with the sweat equity of your firefighters.

In addition to the local businesses, individuals and families throughout the New Glarus Fire District continue to mail contributions to aid in the expansion of the fire house. We live in a dedicated community where help is only a phone call away to continue services provided by the New Glarus Fire Department. Thus far, through your help, the building fund has raised $117,000. The department is truly thankful for all who have helped us reach this point through our Kalberwurst dinner, the golf outing, and our Firefest and we look forward to your continued support.
