Support the NGPD Community Relations Fund

Dear Citizens,

The New Glarus Police Department has established a fund called the New Glarus Police Department Community Relations Fund. This fun assists the New Glarus Police Department with year-round community events for the youth of New Glarus. These programs include our annual Bike Rodeo, the D.A.R.E. program, our community-wide Halloween Safety Initiative, our Child Identification Program, and helps out with the Shop With A Cop program, etc.

All of the donations that are received in regards to this fund stay in the New Glarus community, benefitting the youth of the village. All donations that we receive are greatly appreciated since we are not budgeted any money from the village to assist with these programs. This fund is for the youth of New Glarus.

Donations can be sent to the New Glarus Police Department, with checks made out to “New Glarus Police Department Community Relations Fund.”

If you have any questions, or would like to know more about the New Glarus Police Department Community Relations Fund, feel free to contact me at the New Glarus Police Department, (608) 527-2145.

Sergeant Jeff Sturdevant,

New Glarus Police Department

Team Trevor Raises over $6,000 for NAMI

Dear Editor,

Team Trevor – NAMI Green County joined NAMI Dane County at Olin-Turville Park in Madison on October 4, 2015, for its seventh walk to help prevent the stigma associated with mental health disorders.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness works to advocate, support and educate those with mental health disorders and their families. This year Team Trevor brought in over $6,000 with the help of all our supporters.
