On Friday, January 27th, the New Glarus Skills USA chapter participated in the regional competition at UW-Platteville.

In Team Entrepreneurship, Bella Brinkman, Danika Doll, Edan Doll, and Kiehmi Tazeh took home Gold. Adi Bhattachatya also medaled, placing 2nd in Related Technical Math. Nine other competitors competed in a highly competitive competition of Team Engineering. The group looks forward to the next competition at SkillsUSA State at the end of April.
SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. A nonprofit national education association, SkillsUSA serves middle-school, high-school and college/postsecondary students preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations.
