On November 11, Americans celebrate Veterans Day, showing appreciation and thanks for the sacrifices our military Veterans have made for this country. As part of the We Honor Veterans program, SSM Health at Home provides Veteran-centric services to our hospice patients every day. The resources provided through the We Honor Veterans program focus on respectful inquiry, compassionate listening, and grateful acknowledgment, which is coupled with Veteran-centered education for our staff and volunteers.
