New Glarus Middle and High School FCCLA chapters attended the FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Wisconsin Dells from Monday, 4/4-Wednesday, 4/6. There were a total of eight students in attendance from New Glarus Middle and High School.
Over the course of the three days students attended breakout sessions, heard keynote speakers, gained leadership skills and competed in STAR Events. Our very own Kaia Morrison, 7th grade, was awarded the WI FCCLA Outstanding Member award.
We had great success from our chapters and New Glarus School District is so proud of the following students who attended the State Leadership Conference, competed in their event and medaled: Kaylie Clark - Career Investigation, Gold; Lizzie Smith - Children's Literature, Silver; Alivia Lamb - Focus on Children, Gold; Kaia Morrison - Focus on Children, Gold; Lauryn Arnett - Focus on Children, Gold; Alaina Smith - National Programs in Action, Silver; Camryn Arnett - National Programs in Action, Silver; Emma Mondloch - National Programs in Action, Silver.
In addition, all students that were able qualified to complete at the National Conference in San Diego, California, this summer.
