SSM Health Monroe Visitor Policy Update

March 17, 2022

SSM Health Monroe Hospital and Monroe Clinic Medical Group has updated their visitor policies to allow for two visitors at a time for both hospital and clinic patients. Patients in the Emergency Department, SSM Health Monroe Urgent Care (Freeport) and SSM Health Monroe Express Clinic (Monroe) will continue with one visitor per patient.

Visitors must be over 16 years of age and will be asked to complete a health screening, inclusive of temperature, prior to entry. Visitors are required to cover their nose and mouth with a face covering. This is without exception. Anyone with a positive exposure to COVID-19 or elevated temperature will not be allowed entry without approval by an Administrative Supervisor.

SSM Health will continue to adjust policies and make decisions rooted in safeguarding and caring for their patients, visitors, caregivers and the community at large.
