If your absentee ballot is placed in the Dropbox, it cannot be counted.
Based on the recent decision by the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the Village of New Glarus can no longer accept absentee ballots returned to the Village via the Utility Dropbox located outside of the entrance to Village Hall for the 2022 Spring Election occurring on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. If your absentee ballot is placed in the Dropbox, it cannot be counted.
Absentee ballots must be returned by mail or delivered in-person directly to the Village Clerk's Staff prior to 4:00 p.m., on April 5, 2022, or to the polling location from 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., on April 5, 2022, for your vote to be counted.
