It has been two years since the Music Parents of Monticello have hosted this event, and we are extremely excited to host once again. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022, in the Rehmstedt Gymnasium, with dinner being served at 1:00 p.m. The dinner menu will be chicken, baked potato, coleslaw and a dessert. The talent portion of the show will begin soon after lunch and will show off the talents of our middle and high school vocal and instrumental students.

Another portion of this event that many look forward to is the basket raffle. Lots of great prizes and chances to win! Tickets are available in the district office at the cost of $15. Also new this year is the opportunity for businesses to sponsor a table. The Monticello Music Parents group has sponsored shirts for our high school musical this year, sponsored meals for students attending festivals, and will this year sponsor a day-long music event with “American Idol’s” Reid Grimm to hold concerts for our students K-12 grade during the day in March, and then hosting an evening concert for the public in honor of Music in Our Schools Month in March. Please help us in continuing to sponsor events like this for our musical education students and come enjoy an afternoon out!
