In educating the whole child, there are many strategies to teach effectively, but making a life-long impact as an educator is what is more challenging. In 1947, Martin Luther King Jr. wrote in his article, The Purpose of Education, that, "Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education." Taking his words as inspiration, Belleville High School seeks to do his words justice by offering a main ingredient toward MLK's philosophy of education through experiential learning.
