Sexual Exploitation of Child Suspect Arrested

On November 5, 2021, the Green County Sheriff's Office received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children pertaining to the possession and distribution of child pornography, reportedly originating from a Village of Monticello location. As a result of their investigation, Detectives obtained an arrest warrant issued by the Green County District Attorney's Office for six counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child for Marcus T. Gordon, age 18, whose last known address was Shullsburg, WI.
On December 22, 2021, Deputies located Gordon at a City of Monroe business and took him into custody. Gordon was incarcerated in the Green County Jail until he makes an initial court appearance.
