Pictured here are the students of Mr. Tyler Theden in our manufacturing class at Monticello Schools, using our vinyl cutter to make a sign for the Tech. Ed. classroom door. Each student designed their own sign/logo. As a class, they reviewed each design and discussed characteristics of a sign; such as text choices, symmetry, spacing, and focal points. After review of the designs, the class narrowed it down to one option and made edits as a class to meet the desired characteristics.

If the referendum in April 2022 is successful, it will provide more opportunities for classes such as this manufacturing class and allows the district to expand their industrial education classroom space and tools for students in the STEM areas of study.
