The 15th annual Green County Master Showman Competition was held at the 2021 Green County Fair on Saturday, July 24th. This event brings in the top senior (grades 10 and above) showmen in the dairy, beef, sheep, swine, goats, rabbits and poultry departments at the fair. Two youth from dairy, beef, sheep, swine and goats are invited to participate, and one youth is invited from the rabbit and poultry divisions.

During the event, the twelve participants show all the animal species exhibited at the fair in a round-robin format. Youth are judged by qualified showmanship judges and members of the Agriculture industry from the surrounding communities. After six rotations of the event are completed, the scores are tallied and the member with the highest score earns the title of Green County Fair Master Showman.
