Belleville Chamber to Host Annual Membership Meeting

The Belleville Chamber of Commerce, with help from the Village of Belleville Economic Development Office, is poised to start fresh new ways of doing business – and your business can take part.
The Belleville Chamber of Commerce Annual Membership Meeting will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 24, 2021. The free meeting will be held with both virtual and limited in-person options.
“The organization had eight active members in 2020,” notes Becky Olson, Village Chamber Liaison. Olson is the Village of Belleville Economic Development & Marketing Specialist. She serves as the figure-head to the liaison role, together with the Village of Belleville Economic Development Commission. The goal is to provide capacity building support to the Chamber, as one of many Village business community sustainability efforts. “As of April 16th, 2021, membership is at 23 members and climbing!”
Any Chamber Member may attend the Annual membership meeting; if you are not sure if your business is a chamber member, please check the member directory on the Chamber Website (www.belleville-wi.org). If you have accidentally allowed your membership from years past to lapse, it’s not too late.
Memberships are normally $100.00 for the calendar year – however through the start of the annual meeting, memberships fees may be waived. The Chamber chose to extend the free membership option due to COVID-19 challenges, for so many local businesses.
Attendees are encouraged to make the occasion festive; bring your own beverage and snacks – but also be ready to take care of some Chamber business. All attendees are asked to review the meeting information prior to the start of the annual meeting.
“By reviewing the agenda, bylaws, and financial reports in advance, we can take care of the needed ordinary business, and get down to business building better promotions and supports for our business community,” adds Olson.
