On December 27, 2020, Belleville Fire and EMS were dispatched to Highway 69 and County A, for a motor vehicle rollover in the creek with a trapped occupant.

Fire fighters arrived prepared to make a cold water rescue. The vehicle was stabilized and the uninjured driver was assisted from the vehicle.

On the Belleville Fire Department's Facebook page it was noted, "All of our ice and water rescue equipment is purchased with donated funds. We appreciate your continued support towards this equipment that has now been deployed responding to several incidents in the past few weeks."
