UW-Platteville Announces 2020 Graduates
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville awarded diplomas to nearly 1,000 students from its three campuses for the spring and summer of 2020. Because of COVID-19, no ceremonies were held in May, but will be rescheduled at a later date. Students from our area who graduated include: Haley Doherty, Belleville, Bachelor of Science in Biology; John Gorski, Belleville, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science; Natalie Lehr, Monticello, Bachelor of Science in Animal Science; Jacob Cipri, New Glarus, Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice; April Kaiser, New Glarus, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Anderson Graduates From Clarke University
Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, extends a warm congratulations to the following Class of 2020 graduate Melissa A. Anderson, Albany, Doctor of Nursing Practice. Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Commencement is planned for Saturday, October 3, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., in the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center.
Area Students Named to Carthage College’s Spring 2020 Dean’s List
More than 1,100 students have been named to the Carthage College Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester. Dean’s List honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 14 credit hours during a semester. Area students named to the Dean’s List: Jacob Elmer, Albany; and Megan Mahlkuch, Belleville.
Matchett Graduates From Western Technical College
Ian Matchett, New Glarus, graduated from Western Technical College in the Business Management program. Matchett is one of 599 graduates to receive an associate’s degree or technical diploma in the 2020 Spring Term.
