At approximately 3:35 p.m., on Sunday, June 28, 2020, Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 11 and CTH S, in the Town of Jefferson, for a two-vehicle crash. Green County EMS and the Juda Fire Department also responded.

Investigation revealed that Darius C. Marzette, 39, Freeport, IL, was operating a black 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe. He was traveling eastbound on STH 11. Raymond A. Stonehocker, 82, Davis, IL, was traveling northbound on CTH S. Stonehocker was operating a gray 2014 Subaru Forester. Raymond Stonehocker failed to yield the right of way to Marzette.
