Landon Zimmerman, a native of New Glarus, is one of three members of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater track and field program who were selected first team Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America for the 2019-20 season.

Zimmerman and junior Quinn Halversen, Rockford, IL, of the men’s team and junior Shelby Nickels, Manitowoc, of the women’s team garnered the honor for Division III cross country and track and field in District 6, which includes schools in Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
