Monticello Village Board President Leaora Miller announced last week that the pool in Monticello would be closed for the entire summer.

She said on a Facebook post: “It is with a heavy heart that after many lengthy discussions with state and local public health officials, as well as other area pool directors, we have made the difficult decision to NOT open the pool this year.
