On Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 12:33 p.m., Green and Rock County Deputies, Wisconsin State Patrol, Albany EMS and Albany Fire Department responded to the report of a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of STH 104 and English Settlement Road.

Initial investigation revealed a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Kevin Kienzle, 63, Dyersville, IA, traveling north on STH 104, began to turn left onto English Settlement Road. At that time, a Kawasaki motorcycle, being driven by Devin Manley, 23, Brodhead, southbound on STH 104, struck the rear passenger side of Kienzle’s truck.

Manley was ejected from the motorcycle. Upon being ejected, Manley and the motorcycle were both struck by a vehicle traveling northbound behind the pickup truck, driven by Heather Adams, 38, Brooklyn.

Manley died at the scene from his injuries. Kienzle and Adams were uninjured in the crash.

Also responding and assisting was the Wisconsin State Patrol Reconstruction Unit, MedFlight and Evansville EMS.

State Highway 104 was closed at the accident scene for several hours as deputies and the Wisconsin State Patrol investigated.
