After nine weeks of the regular season and one playoff match, the Harley Blue Express has secured the final spot in this year's championship match. The Express took an early 23-point lead and continued to pick up speed through the sixth round, where they lead by 62. In the seventh round though, it looked as if the Express could be running low on fuel as Opie Taylor and Dave Steinhauer shoveled just 1-point into the boiler for the Express, and John Scheidegger and Steve Hoffmaster managed just five scoops. The Hay Shakers stacked 23 positive points into the mow this round to cut the deficit to 39. However, with what appeared to be a major momentum swing, the Hay Shakers could only pitch 1 additional point in the eighth round to end the match down by 38 points.

Shawn Farrell and Steve Toni shoveled the most for the Express, losing just two games to finish with 112 points. Hay Shakers Jeff Goebler and Brandon Leigler had the low score of the evening with an 85. After blowing through the Kleeman Hay Shakers with just the 1 whistle stop in the seventh, the Express has added an additional stop, the Norsk Golf Club, to their schedule on March 19th for a rematch of last year's championship match against the Norsk Cowboys. The match will start at 7:00 p.m.
