Voters Encouraged to Take Advantage of Absentee Ballots

March 19, 2020

To encourage the practice of social distancing due to the COVID-19 virus, we strongly encourage voters to take advantage of Absentee mail in voting for the April Election. Absentee ballots can be requested through MyVote Wisconsin at https://myvote.wi.gov or the application can be found at: https://newglarusvillage.com/government/elections-voting. You can also contact the Village Clerk’s Office at (608) 527-2510 for assistance. Absentee ballot requests by mail can be made through Thursday, April 2, 2020. Please be sure to include a copy of your photo id with your application.

If you are uncertain about your registration, you can check your registration at https://myvote.wi.gov, click on “My Voter Info”. Updates to your registration can also be made on that site by Wednesday, March 18th. Registration after March 18th needs to be done in person.

For additional information, check out the Village’s website at: https://newglarusvillage.com/government/elections-voting or call our offices at (608) 527-2510 or email: ngclerk@newglarusvillage.com or ngclerk2@newglarusvillage.com.
