Monroe Clinic COVID-19 Updates

March 19, 2020

In an effort to maintain continued transparency with our local communities, Monroe Clinic would like to share the following updates. At this time (Monday, March 16), there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Monroe Clinic and we are not aware of any cases in Green or Stephenson counties.

We will be contacting patients if it is determined their appointment needs to be postponed as a preventative measure.

Additionally, Monroe Clinic has updated its Visitor Policy. Only one visitor per patient is allowed on campus at a time. Patients in the ICU and Family Birth Center require that the single visitor be designated to one person (not rotating visitors). All visitors must be in good health (no signs of a respiratory infection, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or sore throat) and must be 16 years of age or older.

In order to practice social distancing, effective immediately, our Cafeteria and Gift Shop are closed to the public until further notice. Hospital patients and their visitor may still order room service.

We have also made the decision to cancel all classes, events, and support groups effective immediately through April 3. This also includes our Volunteer Services program. We will provide updates closer to April 3 with more information.
