New Glarus Police Department Reminds Drivers to Clear Snow From Their Cars

With the recent snow and cold weather we have experienced, the New Glarus Police Department is reminding drivers to be sure to clean their windows of snow and frost before driving.
On Halloween evening, during the Trick or Treat hours, the driver of the vehicle pictured above did not clear the snow, and ended up driving through the stop sign at 2nd Street and 11th Avenue. They did so while two NGPD officers and their squad cars were parked at the intersection handing out Glow Sticks to Trick-or-Treaters. The motorist fines for the violations were $175.30 for not cleaning the windshield...
