New Glarus School District Wants Community Input
September 26, 2019
The New Glarus School District is reaching out to all District residents to gather input regarding educational facility needs with a community-wide survey. A paper version of the survey will be arriving in mailboxes in the near future, and the District strongly encourages all members of the community to complete a survey. The survey will be open through October 18 at 5:00 p.m.
The New Glarus School District is fortunate to be a thriving, growing district that has hardworking students, committed staff, dedicated parents and a supportive community. As a result, students are experiencing success both in and out of the classroom. While the District is extremely proud of the successes, there are challenges ahead, including ensuring the facilities will meet current and future needs. The District’s Administration and School Board have heard many ideas regarding facility needs, and now want the entire community’s input as they plan for the future.
If you have questions or want additional information, the District is holding a Community Information Meeting on September 30, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., in the High School Auditorium to share additional information about the survey as well as answer questions.
The results of the survey will be presented at the School Board Meeting on October 28, 2019, and will also be shared on the New Glarus School District website.
The New Glarus School District looks forward to receiving the community’s feedback as they continue planning for the future.
