Jerry Apps, a Wisconsin author who has written more than 35 books and who has been published in numerous newspapers and magazines, will be reminiscing about the simple things in Belleville on September 12th, at the High School Auditorium beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Return to the farm with Jerry Apps as he reminisces about the simple things that made up everyday life on the farm. The Belleville Public Library is pleased to sponsor Jerry's talk on Thursday, September 12, at 7:00 p.m., at the Belleville High School Auditorium at 635 W. Church Street.
Jerry Apps will share his memories of these simple things - an old cedar fencepost, Fanny the farm dog, the trusty tools used for farm work - and look for the deeper meanings of these objects and the values instilled in him during his rural Wisconsin boyhood in the 1940's and 1950's.
