The Monticello Area Historical Society (MAHS) will meet at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 22, 2019, in the Zwingli UCC Lounge, 416 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello.

Following a short business meeting, Mark Finnegan of Vets Roll will present a program on the veterans honor trip to Washington, D.C. Vets Roll annually transports hundreds of senior veterans and "Rosie the Riveters" to Washington, D.C., via a caravan of chartered buses. This four-day trip is a 100% volunteer, grassroots organization dedicated to honoring WWII and Korean Era Veterans and stateside support, "Rosie the Riveters".
